Portraits of five awesome musicians playing a debut to Benny Golson’s timeless melodic standards on 30th April in Half Note Jazz Club.
On International Jazz Day (April 30, 2026) the Dimitris Kalantzis Quintet played a special tribute to Benny Golson, one of the great composers and saxophonists of modern jazz.

They performed classics such as Whisper Not, I Remember Clifford, Killer Joe and Along Came Betty. With inspired arrangements, expressive solos and a warm ensemble sound, they honored Golson’s lyrical voice and celebrated jazz history.
